Membership and Capacity Building Advisor

Krista joined the VSE team in November 2022 as a Membership and Capacity Building Advisor. With an academic background in Psychology and Counselling, and a professional background in Victim Support services, Krista is an adamant believer in the crucial that role that victim support services play in the wellbeing and stability of persons who survive crime victimization.

In her role at VSE, Krista is responsible for advising and supporting the Capacity Building team in its mission to champion and empower members to deliver quality services to victims.

Outside of VSE, Krista also lectures on the topic of ‘Victimology’ to Criminology undergraduate students at the University of Malta, and works as Counsellor with a main focus on interpersonal trauma and vicarious trauma.
