Directive 2013/32/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 on common procedures for granting and withdrawing international protection

This Directive sets up common procedures for granting and withdrawing international protection (refugee status and the protection given to people who are not refugees but who would risk serious harm if returned to their country of origin). It seeks to ensure that international protection procedures are faster and more efficient; are fairer for applicants; and meet EU-wide standards for granting and withdrawing international protection.
