VSE values the involvement of volunteers in its work. Volunteers help enhance the range and quality of services provided by VSE by putting their time, skills and knowledge at its disposal. They help keep VSE’s work relevant to victim support organisations and victims of crime throughout Europe by bringing a range of expertise, backgrounds and experience into the organisation.

Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, or can work with us regularly, every little helps and we’d love to hear from you.

Supporting Projects

VSE involves volunteers in many roles to support its projects.

What we offer to volunteers:

  • Valuable and varied experience of work in the field of victims’ rights and EU policy development
  • Development of skills, knowledge and experience

VSE accepts both spontaneous applications and replies to open positions. Applications from candidates with varied backgrounds are encouraged, welcomed, and supported.

Interested applicants are invited to send us a CV + motivational letter to info@victimsupporteurope.eu.

Applications from a range of different backgrounds are encouraged, welcomed and supported

Supporting Events and Conferences

VSE holds several events every year including conferences, workshops, and publicity campaigns. With your help in creating, preparing, and delivering these events, we can make them a success.

Spreading the Word

VSE uses various media tools to promote any new developments in the field of victim support. You can help us with updating our communication tools as well as working with us on media coverage.

Developing IT to Support Victims

Web and mobile applications are increasingly being used to support victims around the world. We would like to develop apps to directly support victims and which local organisations can take on and adapt to their situation. If you have technical skills in this area we’d love to hear from you!

These are just some of the ways you can help us. We’re only a small office, but we have many ideas. If you would like to join us in working for victims across Europe, contact us today!
