Victim Support Northern Ireland

Full Member

Victim Support NI is an independent charity supporting people affected by crime. We offer a free and confidential service, whether or not a crime has been reported and regardless of how long ago the event took place.

Our vision is of ‘a society that ensures appropriate support and information is available for people affected by crime.’
We pledge to continue to work for as long as is necessary to ensure that this vision becomes a reality and that those affected by crime are treated with respect and dignity while receiving the services and support they are entitled to.
Victim Support NI can help you after a crime, whether or not you go to the police. We can provide:
– emotional support and practical help
– assistance and support at court
– help with criminal injury compensation claims
– referral to specialist support services
– advocacy services in incidents of hate crime and sexual violence

Our services are delivered across Northern Ireland by staff and a team of volunteers. Victim Support NI received the ‘Investing in Volunteers’ Award in June 2017.
