Cristina is responsible for providing policy advice to the organisation. Before joining Victim Support Europe, she worked as Programme Manager for the Representation of the European Commission in Romania, coordinating the EU programmes on human rights, justice and anti-corruption. She also worked for the European Investment Bank, as expert on conflicts of interest, and as Programme Officer on Cybercrime Law for the Council of Europe. In the past 15 years she worked for various NGOs, international organisations and universities in the EU as national expert on victims’ rights, justice and anti-corruption matters, and as project manager for EU and other international donors funded projects.

Cristina is also a clinical psychologist, and a CBT psychotherapist specialising in working with trauma and victims of domestic abuse.
