Lidija Zekotic has more than 15 years of practical experience in humanitarian assistance, relief and protection work, designing and implementing projects in the field of community development and CSOs capacity building. She has gained experience in international organisations and NGOs implemented projects mostly in the post conflict setting in Western Balkans.

Having worked on developing, strengthening and capacity building of war victims’ associations in former Yugoslavia, she is thus very much interested in the rights of vulnerable groups, dealing with the past, conflict prevention and transitional justice.

Apart from that, Lidija was awarded the Chevening for Fellowship in Conflict Resolution and Postwar Recovery at the University of York, UK.
