Finance & Administrative Assistant

Melvin is a dedicated and detailed-oriented finance and administrative assistant with over 8 years combined experience in finance, administration and project management, supporting financial operations and budgeting, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

In his current role as the Finance and Administrative Assistant he is mainly responsible for managing the daily financial transactions and general accounting and also performing bank reconciliation, while also participating in annual audits when the need be.

Previously, Melvin had the opportunity of working for both international and local organisations where he gained rich experience in general administration, financial reporting to both external and internal stakeholders (also in the area of liquidity ratios), provided technical support during project implementation and developed training manuals. He is knowledgeable in the use of ERP and CRM systems.

Melvin holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting (2021) and a BA in Psychology (2013).

His skills include but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software, Strategic thinker, creative problem solving skills, analytical and effective communicator and interpersonal skills.
