Junior Capacity Building Officer

Montana joined VSE as a Junior Capacity Building Officer in April 2024.

Montana’s work focused on issues in gender equality and mental health and psycho-social support in conflict settings. Before joining VSE, she served as project coordinator for an NGO focusing on access to higher education in Asia and Africa, where she co-developed training and education programmes for women to foster skill-building and help bridge the gender gap in higher education institutions. Prior to this, she acted as project intern for a UNESCO affiliated NGO focusing on gender-based violence in conflict settings.

Additionally, she holds an MSc in War & Psychiatry from King’s College London, focusing on trauma and psycho-social interventions in emergency settings alongside war studies.
