The entire Victim Support Europe family extends its congratulations to Fredrik Mellqvist on his nomination to serve as the new Secretary General of Victim Support Sweden (BOJ).
On behalf of our 54 members worldwide, we offer our warm congratulations to Frederik who is in a strategic position to offer his wisdom and experience for strengthening the rights for victims in Sweden as they look towards the implementation of the EU Victims’ Directive in practice.
Previously, Fredrik Mellqvist held the position of Deputy Secretary General at Brottsofferjouren Sweden and had been responsible for developing the victim support services. He has a background as a lawyer and started working for the Brottsofferjouren Sweden in 2009.
