Victim Support Europe has concluded its 2021 elections and would like to thank all of our members for their participation.
At our recent General Meeting held May 26, 2021, Geraldine Hanna was elected to VSE’s new president. We extend warm congratulations to Geraldine Hanna on her unopposed election to a 3-year term!
The VSE Board is comprised of leaders of victim support community who represent VSE members and the field, ensuring that Victim Support Europe develops and delivers member value in all regions. We greatly appreciate all of our board members’ contributions to our daily work.
Geraldine Hanna has been the Chief Executive of Victim Support NI since 2015. She has over 20 years’ experience in the victims’ sector and been the driving force in establishing Victim Support NI’s Witness Service in all criminal courts across Northern Ireland and introducing the role of Independent Sexual Violence Advocates to the region. She is passionate about the rights of victims and witnesses and believes that Northern Ireland has the opportunity to be the leading light for best practice in this field. At VSE, we are sure that Geraldine Hanna will show her passion and determination in her new role as VSE’s president.
