FRA publishes report on victim support services in the EU

By January 13, 2015February 1st, 2021News

The European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) published last week its survey on the provision of victim support services in the Member States of the European Union.
The FRA notes in the report that ‘research identified several areas in particular in which Member States currently fall short of meeting the Victims’ Directive’s requirements. More must therefore be done to ensure that the [Victims’] Directive’s objectives are achieved. Notwithstanding the challenges that remain, FRA evidence also brings to light many positive developments and promising practices.’
