On the 14th of January Victim Support Europe held a meeting with The Security and Crisis Centre by the European Jewish Congress (SACC by EJC) in Brussels. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the ideas for future cooperation and to enter into a discussion. There are many common priority areas that are relevant both for VSE and SACC.
In the last few months the world has faced a severe wave of anti-Semitic incidents. SACC’s goal is to ensure the safety and preparedness of Jewish communities across Europe. For instance, EJC runs its own platform where victims and witnesses may report on any kind of antisemitic incident that occurred in their area: https://sacc-ejc.org/incident-report/.
The meeting created a foundation for continued work.
