Child Circle Shares Resources for Early Identification and Support for Children Victims of Online Sexual Abuse Cases
In Greek mythology, Elpis is the name of the spirit of hope.  We share here two key resources from the Promise Elpis project, co-funded by the EU. They aim to assist in ensuring early identification, adequate assistance, protection and access to child-friendly justice for children involved in online child sexual abuse cases.
  • -The Elpis Looking Ahead Reflection Paper connects the experience and learning in Promise Elpis with EU legal and policy developments. It shares recommendations for EU and national policy makers to help them take targeted measures for child victims of online sexual violence. It assists stakeholders and practitioners in connecting their work with the changing EU legal and policy framework.
  • -At a Glance: Elpis provides an overview of all of the Elpis resources for practitioners, promoting specialisation and innovation. It includes abrief description of its key elements, the target group for which it was developed and key points of interest to inspire practitioners to use this resource or consider the development of similar resources in their country.
We hope these resources will assist policymakers, stakeholders and practitioners in their important work in this field.
