Senior Projects Advisor

As Senior Project Advisor, Bruno leads the coordination and development of projects at VSE, particularly the large-scale project 2Together4Victims. He has extensive experience in overseeing and delivering multiple intersectional initiatives in the field of justice, specializing in children, women, and disability rights. With a background in International law and Criminal law from the University of Cambridge (LLM), he has also written multiple policy briefs and proposals for the reform of the criminal justice system, including for victims of crime. Before joining VSE, Bruno worked in various national and international settings. He was the Programmes Director at Validity Foundation, where he oversaw the implementation of the EU-funded portfolio on access to justice. He has also conducted research and supported the implementation of projects at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Bruno also brings on board important hands-on experience in supporting victims of crime in Portugal as a case worker at APAV.
