EU Action Plan for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in EU External Action

VSE contributed to discussions on the EU Action Plan for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in EU External Action, underlining the importance of recognising crime, violence and victimisation as central barriers to gender equality. Through its contribution, VSE called for stronger victim-centred implementation, improved access to support services, and greater attention to the needs of all victims affected by gender-based violence, including in the EU’s external action and international cooperation work.
