Over the past months, the VSE Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group held two online meetings, continuing its work as a forum for members to exchange knowledge, share good practices, and discuss opportunities, risks, and challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence in victim support and organisational management.
Recent discussions have focused on AI governance, practical implementation, and examples of emerging tools, including APAV’s AI-powered chatbot for victims of crime, while emphasising that AI should complement, not replace, human support. The AI Working Group is open to all VSE members, and those interested in joining are warmly encouraged to contact Melina Lepida- m.lepida@victimsupporteurope.eu
