Volunteer

Marie Derstroff is a public health researcher and consultant. She holds an MPH and an MSc in Governance and Leadership in European Public Health from the University of Sheffield and Maastricht University. Having focussed on issues in gender equity, mental health and sexual violence during her studies, Marie joined VSE as a volunteer in 2023. Her support largely focussed on the Project 2Gether4Victims, aiming to improve and harmonise Generic and Specialist Support Services for victims of gender-based violence.
