COVIS (court based victim and witness support service) aims to build knowledge and provide tools to establish and deliver quality court based support services for victims and witnesses of crime and to meet the needs and rights of all victims/witnesses participating in criminal proceedings. COVIS is led by Victim Support Sweden and partners in the project are Victim Support Europe (VSE), APAV Portugal, V-SAC Ireland, RIIKU Finland and Offerrådgivningen Denmark.
Brotsofferjouren Sverige are organising three webinars with the aim of learning more about how court based support is organised and delivered in the Netherlands (November 2023), Australia (December 2023) and the U.S. (January 2024). Participants in the webinars are set to be employees and volunteers within victims support, court based support services and partners within the justice system. The webinars will be open to participants from all partner countries in the COVIS project as well as all VSE members.
