Over the past few months, the BRIDGE team has been working intensively on the community needs assessment (CNA) research in Latvia and Lithuania. Key stakeholders and experts have contributed to identifying gaps and assessing the needs of victim support systems in both countries. These results will be included in a comprehensive report.
To strengthen engagement among national actors involved in victim support, two coordination meetings have been held in February. In parallel, the National Supervisory Boards in both countries and the International Executive Committee convened for the first time in May.
The next phase of the project will involve setting up two multi-stakeholder working groups to develop a blueprint for an ideal victim support system that is tailored to each country’s specific needs and contexts.
