Contribution on the public consultation on the Guidelines on the trusted flaggers mechanism under Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) 

Victim Support Europe (VSE) has responded to the European Commission’s draft Guidelines on Trusted Flaggers under the Digital Services Act, calling for victim support organisations to be recognised as Trusted Flaggers. In its submission, VSE highlights the unique expertise of victim support organisations in identifying harmful online content and supporting victims. VSE also advocates for a more victim-centred approach through stronger cooperation between platforms and support services, accessible reporting mechanisms, and meaningful victim participation in shaping online safety measures.
