Training for judicial professionals was held in Split, from 29th June till 30th June on Law Faculty as part of the project „Rights, support, protection and compensation of victims of crime“ with aim to introduce professionals in field of victim support with Directive 2012/29/EU. Croatian government voted changes in Criminal Procedure Act that are in accordance with Directive 2012/29/EU. For the first time in Croatian legislature we have distinction between term victim and term injured party.
Ministry of Justice confirmed White Circle Croatia’s  licence for free legal aid and we are in waiting for signing a formal contract.
White Circle Croatia signed three year contract with National Foundation for Civil Society Development for institutional support and development of our organisation.
White Circle Croatia also joined international project called Fist Action- Action Against Violence in which are included non- governmental  organisation from Slovenia, Bulgaria, United Kingdom and Croatia. More details about the project you can find here
White Circle’s associate Ljiljana Šupraha, reality psychotherapist, was chosen to be a part of Working group from Ministry of Justice with goal of writing Protocol for Individual Assessment of Victims  .
