Victim Support Europe Hosts Cocktail Reception to Raise Critical Funds
On the evening of December 2nd, a private cocktail reception was held at Scotland House, Brussels, in support of Victim Support Europe, raising funds to support our mission of providing victim support for all. The exclusive event brought together our network from both public and private sectors to show solidarity and contribute to our mission.
The focal point of the evening was a curated photography exhibition, where remarkable works by our two colleagues, Ruben Dos Santos and Larisa Spahic, who also happen to be talented photographers, were donated and available for purchase. Each photograph was carefully selected to reflect themes of resilience, hope, and the human spirit, aligning perfectly with VSE’s mission. Guests were invited to view the gallery, network, and enjoy a selection of drinks all while considering the meaningful impact of their contributions.
Proceeds from each photograph sold went directly to VSE, helping us provide critical services such as victim care, and helping us fund critical future projects. Attendees also had the opportunity to donate directly to the organization, furthering the impact of this fundraising effort.
The event was not only a celebration of art and philanthropy but also a poignant reminder of community strength. The atmosphere was one of hope, with the power of art coming together with compassion and generosity to make a difference. Organizers were thrilled with the outcome, with significant funds raised to continue our work. This cocktail reception, blending creativity and charity, proved to be an inspiring evening.
