Registration for our final campaign event is now open!
“More than Words: Turning Commitment into Real Change for Victims” is a landmark event — co-organised with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU, it’s a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the UN Declaration of Basic Principles of Justice for Victims of Crime and Abuse of Power.
It also marks the culmination of the Year of Victims’ Rights campaign led by VSE and its members across Europe and beyond throughout 2025, but it also serves as a vital fundraising event in support of VSE’s frontline work.
Every week, dozens of victims reach out directly to us for help. Funds raised will allow us to dedicate expert staff to provide immediate and sustained support to victims who too often fall through the cracks.
In a year that has seen remarkable momentum across Europe and beyond in championing victims’ rights, this event will gather leading EU and international policymakers, civil society advocates, law enforcement, and academic voices for a day of high-level dialogue and action planning.
This is more than an event—it is a movement. A celebration of what we’ve achieved together, and a call to action for what still lies ahead.
