Thank You to our Conference Attendees | VSEAnnualConference2022

We want to thank you for attending the #VSEAnnualConference2022 ‘The Age of Resilience’ on May 11-12 in Malta.

We hope that you found the conference informative and worthwhile. The primary goal of this conference was to bring together global victim support leaders as well as friends and partners of VSE from around the world in an open dialogue, under one roof to discuss the issues of building resilience and to develop possible strategies as to how the community can become aware and more engaged in initiatives taking place in victim support sector.

We believe that our diverse and dynamic group of speakers and panelists provided in-depth insight, as well as, actionable and practical tools of building resilience, methods and mechanisms that have worked in other countries.

As Colm Smyth, Survivor of the Loughinisland Massacre, beautifully put it, “I want to thank VSE for the opportunity to speak tt the conference. The attendees were so passionate about their work and it fills me with confidence that the support services for victims will continue to improve. I hope that my presentation helped them to understand the importance of what they do each and every day. Also, I wish to thank you for making my wife Shirley feel so welcome. She enjoyed meeting people who do similar work to her and she learned a lot during the day that will motivate her in her work with Barnardo’s children charity”.

Your presence helped to make this event a great success and your enthusiasm and positive spirit helped make our time together both productive and fun. We wish you all the best and hope that you continue to be engaged with Victim Support Europe.  Stay tuned for upcoming events by visiting www.victim-support.eu
